The committee observed that Donald Trump's statement is a part and parcel of internal and external intrigues to destabilize Pakistan. "The US has foolishly given Pakistan more than $33 billion in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!" Donald Trump tweeted on January 1, 2018.
The committee condemned the tweet of US President and said that Pakistan is an independent sovereign state; hence, no one will be allowed to interfere into internal and external affairs of the state. The committee further observed that $26 million are not the blood money/consideration for the sacrifices made by the nation in war against terrorism.
